A few months ago I received the Tili box from Modus PR. There is nothing better coming home from a long day at work and receiving lovely beauty products. This really made my day and I couldn’t wait to start trying some of these products out.
I think the Tili box is a fantastic idea for anyone who loves to experience new launched products from favourite brands. The good thing about this box is the product sizes aren’t huge and it’s reasonably priced.
As listed on QVC, the Tili box is a subscription-free one-off purchase, so you won't be tied in to any future boxes.
The Tili box contains the following:
1 x Alpha-H Liquid Rose Gold (50ml)
1 x OPI Fiji Collection Nail Polish (15ml)
1 x Vita Liberata 10 Minute Tan (20ml)
1 x Erno Laszlo Cleansing Oil and Cleansing Bar (15ml and 17g)
1 x It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream (4ml)
1 x Julien Farel Vitamin Shampoo (50ml)
1 x Julien Farel Vitamin Conditioner (50ml)
1 x Ultrasun Face SPF30 (25ml)
1 x Benefit Roller Lash (3g)
1 x Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser (30ml)
I really liked the majority of the products in the box, but I have picked out my three favourites which I am about to review to you all.
Alpha-H Liquid Rose Gold Limited Edition
By far my favourite product in the box. I have an obsession with matte packaging I just love it! (don’t ask why). Even though this is more for anti-ageing which I don’t really need at the moment, I still thought I would give this a go.
I used this product as a cleanser and toner on my skin and it worked well for me. I was slightly worried at first because I have really sensitive skin, especially when it comes to my face. I was pleasantly surprised, which lead me to find out exactly what was in this product.
This product basically does exactly what it says on the tin. It has a watery, soft texture and is made from a classic liquid gold formula which combines aromatic botanicals as well as moisture-binding ingredients. It has a light feel when you apply onto the skin.
How I use this product? My beauty routine:
Step 1 - remove all your make-up, I use a Johnsons make-up wipe
Step 2 - once make-up is removed, apply Alpha-H Liquid Rose Gold onto the face and neck by using a cotton pad
Step 3 - dab and glide around the skin gently and avoid contact with the eyes, focus on areas that need it the most
Step 4 - leave on the skin for around 10-15 seconds
Step 5 - grab a new cotton pad, slightly soak with lukewarm water
Step 6 - dab and glide by removing Alhpa-H Liquid Rose Gold off the skin
Step 7 - use a light moisturiser and tap around your face and neck with the tip of your fingertips - I use the Million Dollar moisturiser by LUSH
There you have it. Simple! I did find after using this cleanser that you definitely need a moisturiser after removing. This is because Alpha-H Liquid Rose Gold can make your skin feel a little tight. After I moisturised I could see that my skin was more awake, refreshed, cleansed and smooth.
Vita Liberata 10 Minute Tan
Who doesn’t love fake tan? Applying fake tan can be very frustrating at times as it is very time consuming and you need a lot of patience. I like the fact that Vita Liberata have introduced the ten minute tan. This is great if you are in a rush and want to look like you’ve been on holiday for 2 weeks.
The idea behind this tan is to apply on your face and body and wait for ten minutes. Once ten minutes is up, rinse off in the shower. Your tan will gradually start to appear within 4-6 hours after showering.
This tan has a slight thick texture but once you start applying onto the skin it glides on easily as it has a nice cream texture. Some fake tans can be patchy at times, but found that this tan didn’t so much, this could be because it has a more creamy feel.
The smell isn’t that bad as it contains organic neroli, rose & peptides. I think this tan is good if you are looking for something last minute. I would say that with fake tans you have to make sure you buy the right shade otherwise it can start to look really unnatural.
OPI Fiji Collection Nail Polish
I am sure everyone loves OPI just as much as I do. I have so many OPI nail polishes and this was another I couldn’t wait to add to my collection.
I do think that out of all the nail polish brands, I find OPI the longest lasting and hence why I have always used OPI polishes on my nails.
The ‘I Can Never Hut Up’ shade is gorgeous for summer. It’s a beautiful light grey shade with a lovely glitter tint to it. Grey pretty much goes with anything so this would never affect your day to day outfits. I think simple colours are always the better options as you can never go wrong.
OPI polishes are super long lasting and as long as you have a good top coat your nails will be looking like you’ve just stepped off the Red Carpet.
All products from the Tili box can be purchased on QVC. Here is the link to purchase the box which is £20. If you love having a load of beauty products in one box then you will love Tili.
