I attended GOSH Copenhagen’s new launch of their SS16 collection which will be available in Superdrug stores on the 10th February. The event was hosted at the Metropolitan Hotel which is right next to Hyde Park. It was a lovely evening enjoyed with a glass champagne! This was my second time going to a GOSH launch so I was super excited to admire their new collection as I also loved the AW15 collection.
Thanks to GOSH Copenhagen at the end of the launch I received their goodie bag which included the new SS16 product collection where I could put the products to the test.
My goodie bag included:
X 2 Lip oils: (002 Sea Buckthorn) (003 Rose)
X 1 Lumi drop: (004 Peach)
X 1 Lipstick: (012 Matt Raisin)
X 2 Eyeshadow sticks: (10 Twisted Brown) (11 Dark Brown)
X 1 9 Shades Shadow Collection
X 1 Rebel Eyes mascara
Two products that really stand out to me are GOSH’s fabulous new lip oils and the Lumi Drops which are perfect to use when highlighting certain areas or mixing with foundation.
GOSH Lip Oils
I was so thrilled to get my hands on these lip oils as it is something I haven’t tried before and is a great dupe against Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil. GOSH lip oils include three beautiful colours 002 Sea Buckthorn, 003 Rose. When applying it has a very soft, light feel, giving your lips that perfect glossy finish.
I have always been a fan of lip gloss but particularly pleased with GOSH Copenhagen as I find the lip oils also keep my lips nice and hydrated. You can apply this on a lipstick shade or if you prefer that more natural look you can apply without any colour.
The lip oil has a flat brush which makes it really easy to apply on your lips and is made with a liquid formula which makes it really easy to glide along the lips. My favourite is the 003 Rose shade - I tend to wear this over my other GOSH lipstick 004 Matte Coral which makes a great combination.
These new lip oils will be launching in Superdrug stores on the 10th February and are priced at £7.49. It is really interesting to see the difference between cheaper and more expensive brands as the Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil is priced at £18. I have always said cheaper brands are just as good, if not better.
I am really pleased that GOSH Copenhagen have brought lip oils to the beauty world as it is such an affordable brand.
GOSH Lumi Drops
When I saw these at the launch I just fell in love. These Lumi Drops are such a great way to start getting creative with your make-up look. You can apply and mix how you like whether it be with your foundation or highlighting in certain areas. Lumi Drops have a lovely texture and a glitter, shine effect on the skin. I would say these are perfect to use if you are going on a night out and priced at £14 I don’t see why not.
The Lumi Drops consist of six colours from light to darker tones, one of my favourites being 004 Peach which leaves a gorgeous glow to the skin. I love how GOSH are bringing something different and imaginative to the make-up world. I am sure these will be very popular.
