5 Things To Do This Christmas
Christmas my favourite time of the year, although December always seems to be a hectic time as there’s always catch ups with family and friends it sometimes can be difficult to find something to do with everyone. Christmas is such a fun, festive time of year and if you are ever stuck with what to do around Christmas then do not panic as there are tones of places to go particularly in London. I have listed a few ideas below.
Skate at Somerset House
I am sure a few of you would have heard about this place already but had to be included in my list as I love it! With a 900-square-metre outdoor rink it’s such a pretty place to skate this is also very popular and gets booked quickly. Somerset House has lots of tempting extras Fortnum’s lodge with champagne, afternoon tea and private dining. Club nights which feature a Ministry of Sound DJ and plenty of lovely shops.

Funzing’s Alternative Christmas Market
This is a fun, festive market taking place at the magic roundabout in Old Street Station, from 5pm-11pm on Thursday 3rd December the good thing about this event is it’s completely free. The market has a traditional spin to it. Expect to experience food and craft, graffiti spray painting,
cocktail bars, baked goods, DIY, free gifts and a DJ!
Funzing’s have made it clear that under 18’s may only enter the venue before 9pm.
Covent Garden Christmas
One of my favourite places in London. Covent Garden has gone for a mistletoe theme to decorate their beautiful market buildings. Covent Garden is great if you love markets, they probably do the best with lots of pretty, different stalls from handbags, jewellery, gifts to handmade items. Covent Garden also has high street shops and designer brands it’s definitely the place to go.
