So I ordered a few things from Bobbi Brown and my package arrived this morning. In my package was this fantastic booklet on EIGHT WAYS TO COMBAT BREAST CANCER where Evelyn H. Lauder launched The Estee Lauder Companies Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign in 1992 with the creation of the Pink Ribbon, now the world’s recognised symbol for breast health. The BCA campaign has raised more than £38 million to support research and education.
Here are 8 steps on how to find early signs/sudden changes within your breasts. It’s most treatable before it advances and ladies this can help save lives. #ourboobsdeserve
Examine your breasts regularly and report any changes to your doctor.
See your doctor regularly for breast exams in your 20s and 30s.
Schedule annual mammograms at 40, or earlier if you are high-risk.
Eat fibre and antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables.
Maintain a healthy weight. Extra weight means extra risk.
Limit your alcohol intake.
Do not smoke, and quit if you do.
Get at least 45 minutes of physical activity daily.
