A mini book review on: What Would Audrey Do?
First of all I saw this book and instantly thought ‘pretty cover’ why not give it a read for my holidays, an unusual choice I know but I have always been a huge fan of Audrey Hepburn and her movies she is a true style icon. This book is written about her life, style and grace author by Pamela Keogh.
This book is a fabulous take on a biography of Audrey Hepburn, with tips and insights on how she might live in our oh so modern world today.
It reveals so much about her life and how she dealt with different situations. It has a variety of stories that show her personality and how wonderful she really was. It also contains fun facts and details about her that make you admire her even more.
What I liked about the book: It shares certain things that Audrey would and wouldn't do, and this reveals so much about her and what her beliefs were. I think Pamela Keogh came up with a cute idea with the design of this book as it’s very girly and pretty in pink looking, but that’s the point the idea was to make it appeal specifically to woman.
Overall: I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to be like Audrey Hepburn or learn more about her life as it lists some really good guidelines. Keogh included a few of AH’s famous quotes which can also be inspiring to others. It was a great book, but I found myself getting bored after a while. Although it is not the ideal book for dialogue that would have certainly made me want to read more.
