My beauty blog has been a great experience and I have met some fantastic PRs, editors and bloggers over the years but I am now focusing on my career full time, meaning that I won't be blogging. 

I will be keeping my beauty blog as a great memory but I would like to thank you all for your great support. I'll still be on social media but just not known as beautyologylara. 

My Blogging Story: Keeping as a memory of mine.

May 2015 I started a beauty, hair and lifestyle blog called 'Beautyology By Lara.' I created a different type of beauty, hair & lifestyle blog where everything I posted was all about new trends, beauty tips, advice, lifestyle, reviews, product recommendations and natural homemade recipes created by myself.


I was surprised at how well and popular the blog began to grow. It took off well and I gained over 15,000 views and over 6,000 followers on social media platforms. During that time I had the excellent opportunity to collaborate with and promote brands such as GOSH Copenhagen, Paul Mitchell, Creative Head Magazine, Estee Lauder Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign, Skinbreeze and Superdrug.


Since the creation of Beautyology, I had the chance to be involved with PR events involving the chance to network with bloggers, editors and PR’s. This has made me understand that having a successful beauty blog with a growing number of followers completely depends on building relationships with brands and finding creative ways to make engaging content. It has been a genuinely rewarding experience to learn both of these important strategies. I featured in the January 2016 Creative Head Magazine, working with Paul Mitchell, I recently embarked on a series of blog posts which go beyond my normal focus on beauty, most enjoyable for me being a series of blog posts which are designed to help some of my unemployed followers get into the world of work.


Creating Beautyology has been the absolute highlight for me of 2015, and in such a short space of time it allowed me to reach out to such a broad range of people in a way I did not think was possible. 2016 was even better and my main focus was to be consolidate and extend the number of followers I have and to build even more great relationships with beauty brands.
